In 1923 Wed. H Putman established a fuel and towing company and in 1932 A.H. Putman started a transport company and trading in sand, gravel and coal.
Putman is still a family business with, nowadays, the 4th and 5th generation at the head of the company. Today, Putman has facilities in Westervoort (NL) and Wissel in Germany.
